Dance and Music Troupe
News:
The Ghawazee Troupe won't be performing anymore as Ghawazee (except possibly for very special occasions). We've decided to split the troupe into two troupes to pursue some differing interests that we all have.
Of course we are sad that we can't be such a big group anymore -- it was very hard to be the size we were and still be successful at everything we wanted to be doing. Thank you all for your love and support in our efforts -- we will keep it close to our hearts and I hope everyone will continue to support us in our new endeavors. We are excited about our future:
One part of Ghawazee is now known as "Zafira; World Fusion Belly Dance" -- these dancers will be focusing on dance performance and teaching.
The other part consists both of dancers and musicians and is now known as "Khafif -- Middle Eastern Music and Dance". This troupe will be focusing on doing some recording and video projects as well as working on new performance material.

We're keeping the old web page up because there are many references to it,
and to the work we have done as Ghawazee -- we're proud of what we've accomplished so far!
